It is this diversity that creates a unique experience for all that attend our schools. Berrien Springs Public Schools is a world-class district in a small school package.

Internet Safety

Parents are becoming increasingly concerned about the safety of their children using the Internet. The Internet is an incredibly useful tool, but it must be used with caution. So long as children and parents adhere to the following guidelines, the dangers of the Internet will be greatly diminished:

  • Do not give personal information over the Internet such as address, telephone numbers, name, or location of your school.
  • Do not get together in person with anyone you meet on the Internet. People who seem nice online may actually be dangerous in person.
  • Do not send pictures of yourself to others online.
  • Do not respond to any threatening emails or messages online. Responding only encourages the individual to continue.
  • Set up rules for the types of sites a child can visit as well as the amount of time spent online.
  • Do not leave children unsupervised to browse the Internet.
