Michigan Department of Education developed Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCE) for all students in Math and Language Arts. The GLCEs for each grade level (Kindergarten through 8th Grade) state what students at that grade level should know and be able to do. The State Department has Parent Guides to assist parents in understanding what their child(ren) will be expected to learn each year.
