Welcome to Mars Elementary! Our Kindergarten program is designed to lay a strong foundation for your child's academic and social development. At Berrien Springs Public Schools, we are committed to inspiring young minds through a comprehensive curriculum.

In addition to the core curriculum, students receive specials in Art, Technology, Music, Media Center, and Physical Education. Our dedicated teachers create a warm, engaging learning environment where students thrive. By teaching the 4C's (collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking,) we ensure that every child is equipped with the skills to succeed. This event is for all resident Berrien Springs district families with children turning 5 by September 1, 2026.

Meet our staff, explore Mars Elementary, and take the first exciting step into the Shamrock family. As part of the event, students will participate in our Kindergarten Screener.  

GSRP Information

All students who turn 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2026 will have the opportunity to get more information about our FREE preschool for all Great Start Readiness Program. You will enter the Mars main office entrance door C1 and meet our GSRP preschool staff in the gym. Please bring proof of residency. Proof of income is no longer required.
