Art Classes

This course will provide students with the opportunity to engage in art-related techniques on wood projects, such as painting, staining, sanding, and distressing wood pieces and furniture.

Over the course of the semester, students will learn to create compelling, interesting and unique imagery using recycled print matter and other found materials, with styles ranging from the abstract to photo-realistic. 

In this online class, we will explore how to be creative with adobe photoshop and illustrator.  This class will be found under the Art category during registration.

A number of projects will be completed over the course of the semester using media such as, chalk, oil pastels, ink, watercolor and acrylic paints as they explore the techniques of impressionism, pointillism, resist and texture.
