Adult Education: English as a Second Language (ESL)

The Adult ESL program is designed to teach English as a Second Language to adults. In addition, we provide an opportunity in learning U.S. History and Government to aid in the path to citizenship.  The program serves 60-100 people each year from approximately 29 different countries.  The program is diverse in languages and cultures.

Registration Information

• Please register at the Discovery Academy between 5:00-7:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.
• Please allow two (2) hours to register and take a placement test from the time of arrival.
• The program is designed for adults ages 18 years and older.
• Bring a picture ID with you.

• There is no registration fee.

Curriculum: Burlington English

A mixture of in-class lectures, conversation, grammar, and interactive learning on computers.
