Mrs. Barrett is a dedicated and committed member of our district who works to create an engaging learning environment for students while supporting staff and administration. She has invested countless hours developing professional learning opportunities that strengthen instruction and collaboration at the middle school and across the district.

Mrs. Barrett is known for her willingness to collaborate, share resources, and step in whenever help is needed. Whether mentoring new staff, covering duties, or offering guidance and encouragement, she consistently lifts up those around her and goes above and beyond to support both students and colleagues.

One colleague shared, “Mrs. Barrett's everyday actions inspire both staff and students to become the very best versions of themselves. She models a high level of professionalism while showing grace and encouragement to colleagues, which is why staff feel honored to work alongside her. For students, she is a true role model. She arrives each day prepared, positive, and committed to helping them reach their potential. She also represents Berrien Springs Public Schools with pride, building community and business partnerships that provide students with real-world experiences and help them become career ready.”

Congratulations, Amanda Barrett, and thank you for going above and beyond for Berrien Springs Middle School and Berrien Springs Public Schools.
