Middle School Students visit Lake Michigan College

Middle School students are introduced to college and experience many learning opportunities that are available to them. Throughout the year, students are introduced to different learning choices they can participate in while in high school. These opportunities showcase post-secondary education, the trades, or the workforce. Part of the careers class is to teach students the importance of employability skills for post-secondary and the job market.

On Friday, January 13, 2023, Middle School students in Mrs. Haygood's Careers class visited Lake Michigan College (LMC). Students toured the campus and learned about the college's certification programs and Associate's degrees. In addition, they also learned about student life and visited the dorm rooms. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about college and engage with the LMC staff.
