Winter Weather Conditions and School Update

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We want to keep you informed about today’s snowy weather conditions. Please note that Berrien Springs Public Schools will remain open and operate on a full-day schedule today, Monday, December 2, 2024.  Middle school events and practices have been canceled. Our high school has no sporting events scheduled for today.  Practices will continue as planned for now, with coaches making a determination at the end of the school day. 

We are closely monitoring the weather and road conditions to ensure the safety of our students and staff. As always, safety remains our top priority. We encourage all families to exercise caution while traveling to and from school, and please allow extra time for commutes.

As a reminder, if there future weather closures, we will communicate these updates via the following:

• District Website District and Building Social Media Pages
• Local TV and radio stations
• Berrien Springs Public Schools App
